The foundation FIRST Scandinavia was established September 18th in 2000. The foundation aims to cover the whole of Scandinavia with its activities. The board consists of members from Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The idea behind the foundation is the realization among several Scandinavian organizations, commercial as well as governmental, that our society is lacking talented recruits within the natural sciences. Our aim is to turn this trend around by offering children/youths across Scandinavia fun and engaging learning activities, focusing on technology and the natural sciences through various projects. The administration consists of 9 employees. |
